SUITS - POPULAR - MAN

The group has different popular suits, faithfully reproduced, they are of different epoches,  

they faithfully mirror the popular traditions Sicilian (particularly in the Province in Messina) 

Description of some suits:

I live Marinaro, of the XV° century. (Messina) 

Gilet of red velvet without sleeves buttoned of before;  

Short pants of white cotton until under to the knee adorned of two wool little balls red color;  

Shirt of white cotton with long sleeve;

Cotton stockings white color long until above the knee;  

Shoes of skin and leather black color.

Short pants of corduroy of brown color (buttoned under the knee);

SUITS - POPULAR - DONNA

"Suit from warlike CMLXX° - (Messina)

As it is deduced today still, the suit, is worn by the equestrian statue of Mata (laws l legend of the giant Mata e Grifone. 

Cotton shirt, blue color with I unstick round with the extremity of the long sleeves curled to the wrists; 

Skirt of satin, of white color with ample folds, short under the knee, adorned to the extremity with band of satin color gold; 

Bodice of velvet, of cotton short black color in life without sleeves tightened and adherent to the life served as a woven black string; 

Necklace of coral, white; 

Earrings of pearls, white to drop; 

Bow of black velvet (big); above the head. 

Cotton stockings, color white; 

Shoes of skin and leather black color. 

"Water's bearer XVIII° sc. (Taormina Provincia in Messina)

Used by the canters in the days of party.
